Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection or sperm microinjection technique is a very innovative
technique that allows IVF to be much more effective and, therefore, increases the success rate
of pregnancies. But what does this technique consist of? A micropipette is used to facilitate the
entry of the sperm into the egg. To do this, the best sperm are previously selected and
introduced directly into the mature egg.

As you can see, through this technique we facilitate the entry of the sperm into the cytoplasm
of the mature egg and we make it possible to fertilise it, thus avoiding fertilisation failures that
may occur naturally.
