IVF WITH OWN EGGS

In vitro fertilization (IVF) consists of fertilizing the egg with a sperm in the laboratory and, once the embryos are created, transferring them into the woman’s uterus.

The percentage of success depends on multiple factors: the woman’s age, the quality of the ovarian reserve, the quality of the embryos transferred, and the presence of uterine pathologies or a genetic condition. We can’t provide the odds of overall pregnancy. After studying your case, the medical team will give you a more reliable evaluation of your odds of getting pregnant.

At Reproclinic we handle everything to ensure your chances of success are as high as possible. We use the techniques needed to optimize the results.

IVF WITH DONOR EGGS

The chances of pregnancy in IVF with egg donation are very high, keep in mind that the probabilities depend on many factors. These include the woman’s age, the quality of the sperm and of the embryos transferred, and the presence of any endometrial pathologies. Depending on your situation, the doctor will estimate your chances of getting pregnant.

The IVF process with donated eggs is slightly different than a cycle of in vitro fertilization with the mother’s own eggs. The donor, previously accepted into our donor program, who exhibits the highest phenotypic and immunological match with the woman and the couple, is selected.

FROZEN EMBRYO TRANSFER

The embryo vitrification technique has developed considerably in recent years, to the point where now, a vitrified embryo retains its characteristics perfectly for an unlimited time. In other words, an embryo that is transferred in a subsequent cycle has the same chances of resulting in a pregnancy.

Sometimes the embryos that remain after an IVF cycle are vitrified for future use. Cryotransfer involves transferring the best vitrified embryo because the patient(s) has decided to get pregnant again or to try a second time.

Insemination

Intrauterine Insemination (Artificial Insemination) is an assisted reproduction technique that consists of introducing into the woman’s uterus the most optimal sperm to fertilize her egg.

It is the most natural assisted reproduction treatment because fertilization takes place in the Fallopian tubes, not in the laboratory. It is particularly suitable for single women or young couples with sterility problems.
