Blastocyst Guarantee Program


At Reproclinic, we are proud to offer a wide range of egg donation treatments to suit the needs of our patients. Our programs include everything you need for a successful IVF cycle: ICSI, long embryo culture, selection and embryo transfer. The number of blastocyst-stage embryos in each program (RC1, RC2, RC3, RC5) marks the minimum number of embryos guaranteed, but on many occasions, more blastocysts could be obtained.

General information

The center guarantees the number of blastocysts indicated in the program name.

If fewer blastocysts are obtained than the number indicated in the program, the center undertakes to carry out a treatment to obtain the remaining blastocysts, once all the embryos have been transferred.

In order to carry out the new cycle, if the semen used is that of the male (patient), he agrees to undergo the diagnostic tests required by the medical team prior to the new treatment.

It is necessary to transfer the embryos created previously, before generating the embryos pending in the program. Inclusion criteria must be confirmed (see explanation of cases where the Blastocyst Guarantee does not apply below).

Blastocyst Guarantee program

  • 4 oocytes

    No blastocyst will be guaranteed

    • New free cycle is offered without charge

  • RC1

    1 blastocyst is guaranteed

    • New free cycle is offered without charge

    If no embryos are obtained, a new cycle will be performed at no additional cost.

  • RC2

    2 blastocysts are guaranteed

    • New free cycle is offered without charge

    If no embryos are obtained, a new cycle will be performed at no additional cost. If only one blastocyst is obtained, the second one can be created with a different egg donor, only after transfering the previously created embryo, or you can opt for a refund of 400 euros.

  • RC3

    3 blastocysts are guaranteed

    • New free cycle is offered without charge

    If no embryos are obtained, a new cycle will be performed at no additional cost. If only one or two blastocysts are obtained, the remaining embryos can be created with a different egg donor, only after transfering the previously created embryos, or you can opt for a refund of 400 euros.

  • RC5

    5 blastocysts are guaranteed

    • New free cycle is offered without charge

    If no embryos are obtained, a new cycle will be performed at no additional cost. The remaining blastocysts (if not obtained in the first cycle performed) can be obtained from a different ovocyte donor than the first, only after transfering the previously created embryos, or you can opt for a refund of 400 euros (regardless of the number of pending blastocysts).

(*) The Blastocyst Guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

  1. If the sperm used in the cycle is of suboptimal quality

    (sperm concentration less than 10 Mil/ml and/or progressive motility less than 25% and/or normal forms less than 2%), or if it presents seminal infections on the day of the AR treatment, or any persistent infections.

  2. In the case of requiring a genetic analysis of the embryos prior to their transfer (PGT) for whatever reason.

  3. If there is altered DNA fragmentation in the spermatozoa

    to fulfill the blastocyst guarantee, the patient accepts the treatment with sperm collection on the day of egg retrieval and the performance of the complementary technique of microfluidic chips for the selection of spermatozoa.
