Interview

Why did you become an expert in fertility?

I had special interest for human reproduction since the beginning of my speciality in obstetrics and gynecology. I realized that I wanted to become a fertility specialist since I started seeing patients who struggled with infertility. The satisfaction and joy of helping people fulfill one of the most important projects in life, which is to have a family, is priceless.

Why are you proud to work at Reproclinic?

Because we have created an amazing team, capable of helping people all over the world to fulfill their dream of becoming parents, making the process as easy and efficient as possible. We offer all fertility treatments and we have a state of the art laboratory. We are very conscious that every patient has different needs, and therefore, we individualise and tailor every treatment according to their needs to maximise their chances of pregnancy.

What is your attitude towards working with patients?

I strongly believe in a holistic approach in the treatment of infertility and the importance of empathy and patient care. It is very important for me to ensure that I inform patients of all their fertility treatment options and help them to understand them and decide what is the best option in their case.

I also consider crucial to provide emotional support along the fertility treatment journey, as well as help patients have realistic expectations.

Have you had patients that inspired you?

All patients inspire me somehow. Everyone has a different background and a different approach towards infertility. I learn from all of them everyday and I´m so grateful for it. The biggest lesson I learnt from them is that resilience and perseverance are the key to success.

How do you spend your free time?

I spend most of my time seeing patients, so whenever I have free time, I spend it with my family and friends. I have recently discovered yoga and meditation, and I try to practise on regular basis. I also love travelling, outdoors sports like ski and hiking and photography.

How would you describe your personality?

I’m a very social person. I love spending time with my family and friends and meeting new people. I’m curious, eager to learn and passionate.
