Interview

Why did you become an expert in Health Tourism?

My academic background and my professional experience are quite diverse. I have always defended that new experiences are extremely enriching. Five years ago, I embarked on a new “adventure”: I started managing the health care project of a hospital group that wanted to become the “Huston of the Mediterranean”. I recognize that, in the beginning, it was like stepping into quicksand. However, as we developed solutions for international patients, who for legal, economic, religious or other reasons could not access the necessary health care, satisfaction was growing. But it was not until the first patient that I attended personally, that I changed my perception of what, until then, for me was basically business, to the feeling to contribute in the happiness of the people. This feeling keeps pushing me to give the best of myself in Reproclinic, where we help people, in any part of the world, to opt for excellent healthcare and be happy, fulfilling their dreams of having babies.

Why do you feel proud to work at Fertty?

Behind every successful company, there is a great team. I get the immense satisfaction of working in a very trusting environment, with very professional people, highly involved, creative, adventurous and who enjoy their work. I’m proud to say that we are totally dedicated to providing the personalized solution to each patient, that each of us gives the best and that we attend each patient with great care and affection. We love to make them feel part of our big family.

In addition, the facilities are very pleasing. The first time I enter the clinic, I had the feeling of staying in a boutique hotel, a feeling that certainly helps to feel more relaxed.

What is your attitude toward working with patients?

First of all: empathy. Frequently we attend people with rather large emotional fragility, so this human connection is indispensable. It facilitates communication, understanding what each patient feels and the resolution of each situation.

Have you had patients who inspire you?

Of course! There are stories that increase happiness, some, sadness. Most inspire motivation and enthusiasm.

How do you spend your free time?

My passion is travelling: discovering cultures, places, customs, gastronomy, etc. Get away from the familiar, accustomed and comfortable, trust strangers and live diverse experiences. It’s the way of learning that I like the most.

My day to day: dance shoes always in my backpack, a good book (I’m a lover of classical literature), a camera (mobile phone also works), all the plans with my friends who are my second family.

How would you describe your personality?

Adventurous, optimistic and dreamy. Dynamic, responsible and decisive. I get excited easily. My favorite answer is: “Yes, I dare!”.
